Flavors of Jamaica

Flavors of Jamaica restaurant first opened it's doors on March 23rd 2020. Chef Reniel Billups opened Flavors with a vision to offer Traditional Jamaican Cuisine along with self created non traditional Caribbean infused dishes inspired by cuisines from various cultures. A restaurant with adequate casual dining space was essential for creating an atmosphere that would elevate the level of appreciation for Jamaican cuisine and culture. Flavors of Jamaica is a restaurant of welcome to Vegetarian and Vegan customers as there is a Vegan version for most of our non Vegan menu items available. Flavors also serves proteins that are Halal to provide a desirable selection of menu items for our customers that will only consume Halal foods. Every Friday night Flavors of Jamaica hosts Karaoke night and on Saturday nights some form of live entertainment is provided for patrons to have fun together and to promote unity in the community. Sunday is Brunch Day at Flavors! From 10am to 4pm we serve a unique Caribbean inspired Brunch which includes traditional Brunch items, some traditional Jamaican items, and some Caribbean infused menu items with an equally large Vegan only menu. Being located in the City of Pontiac, Flavors of Jamaica is working hard to be a contributing partner in the city's renaissance by giving back to the community through various avenues. Flavors is looking to host the city's first annual Caribbean festival in August of 2024. With the addition of a new food service trailer, Flavors of Jamaica is also working to expand it's reach to Detroit and other neighboring cities.
